So I’m spending a little time writing about that show, on www.blueboxworld.com.

Today’s post is about the origins of the show, which started in Philly back in 2000. We were living on 22nd Street, which is coincidentally the first apartment I wrote about in the Places I’ve Lived Series. Dave and I founded Blue Box back in 1999, when we wanted to make theater, and Dave thought we should start off by producing my plays. I thought this was a great way to spend time and money (due to my aforementioned narcissism), so we did it.

Hope you check it out blue box world, and if you’re in NYC, I’d love to see you at Sticky!

In the meantime, and for no particular reason, here are two contrasting pictures from my visit to Umbria with my mom this summer.
